Ever After Mustang Rescue

Ever After Mustang Rescue (EAMR) is a non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates previously adopted mustangs and either transitions them to new homes and useful lives, or offers life-time care to un-adoptable horses.

Mona Jerome

It’s with great sadness that the Jerome Family announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother after losing a battle with cancer. The founder of Ever After Mustang Rescue will forever be remembered for her strong faith in God, her love for her family and Wild Mustang’s.

We just want to thank everyone for all their kind words, thoughts, prayers and donations in our mother’s honor. We are humbled by the outpouring of love by so many people she had impacted. We are comforted that her memory and legacy will long be remembered by so many.

Lydia will continue where her grandmother left off, a job she has been doing with her for several years. Lydia has a very great volunteer staff that she can depend on, as well as her family. The family will continue to help and support Lydia in any areas needed just as we did our mother. Together we will continue our mother’s dream and legacy to save the “Wild Mustang’s.” We thank you for your support and ask that you continue to help us as we move forward.

Additionally, we offer educational programs and mentoring to prospective adopters and other interested persons in the care, handling and training of the wild horse.

EAMR promotes interest and awareness in America’s Wild Horse through presentations to schools, organizations and other groups. Would your group like to have a visit from us? We would love to share our story with you.

Ever After Mustang Rescue is a Licensed Equine Rescue Facility in the State of Maine. We have over 30 years of Mustang Experience.
